Access and participation

Accessibility

MRP intends for people to understand the public information and communicate through a format that works for them.

Accessibility is part of the process—not an afterthought.

Updated September 4, 2026

Musical Relationship Portrait is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is a working target, not a claim that every page or future participant tool has been fully tested or certified.

Current public Site

The Site is designed with semantic headings, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus indicators, a skip link, responsive layouts, readable text, zoom support, and reduced-motion support. The current public contact pathway is email rather than a complex online form.

Future media

Public audio or video will not autoplay. When media is added, MRP intends to provide appropriate captions, transcripts, controls, and text alternatives. Accessibility versions will remain within the same participant permissions as the underlying material.

Participant communication

Please contact MRP to discuss audio, typed, or signed/video responses according to your access needs. MRP will confirm which formats are currently available.

Alternative access

If a page, document, or communication creates a barrier, contact hello@musicalrelationshipportrait.com. Please identify the page or material and the format or assistance that would help. MRP will make a reasonable effort to provide the information another way and correct the barrier.

Ongoing review

Accessibility requires both automated and human testing. Ongoing review includes keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, reflow, link, and device checks, including when meaningful features or media are added.
